When signing in to Yahoo! Geocities you will be prompted to make some choice.
Depending on what you have planned, you can choose the build now.
(Geobuilder or page builder, you can find an excellent help link to page builder in the Atlantis help page) Edit page, or up load page.
Once in file manager you will notice the above image.
You will also notice that you have an index.html, that page is like a reserved sign saying that this is your home page.
To start a new page, click the �new� button.
In order for your page to show up you will have to do one of two things.
One is create your first page, and name it Index.html.
Two, create your first page, use the Delete button and delete the index, and then rename your page index.html.
The subdirectory, is a place to keep your files organized.
Instead of having many files in your main file manager, you can use this feature.
(NOTE) when writing out your pages remember, if you have a particular file in a subdirectory to write you image something like, - img src=�the name of your directory/your image.gif

Ez-Upload:
This is a great tool for uploading files to the file manager. Always try and make your files the same case size. 90% of all problems happen because of a spelling mistake. Rule #? Check spelling if it is not working.
The ez-upload only loads 5 files at a time, for some this could take a while. FTP:is a great option, with little ease whole websites can be up loaded, or downloaded.
