| Gilligan's Island premiered in semtember of 1964 and lasted Three seasons, producing 36 black and white episodes and 62 color episodes. An animated cartoon version, The New Adventures of Gilligan was televised from 1974-1977 and another Gilligan's Planet, was launched in 1982. There were also Three TV-Movie sequals: Rescue From Giligans Island(1978) where the seven castaways where finally rescued only to caught in another freak storm during a reunion cruise and stranded on the same island; The Castaways on Gilligan's Island (1979), where they converted the island into a tourist resort; and The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligin's Island, (1981) which had famed basketball hot-doggers dropping by. |
