Hi! My name is Gloria (aka Arahki). I'm a native of the "Lone Star State", Texas. I am Mom to five children ages 25, 24, 16, 14, and 12.
I stumbled into the chat community 3, maybe 4 years ago when I went to the SciFi channel's website. I immediately signed up to become a member. I was a little apprehensive about chatting at first, so I would go to #startrek and just watch the interactions between the other chatters( I think the only word I "spoke" was "Hi" lol)

By the way, my nick doesn't mean anything that I know of. You see, I'm also a Dune fan and I wanted a nick that reflects that. I liked the name Arrakis (another name for the planet Dune), but I didn't want to break any copyright laws, so "Arahki" was born! {G}
