TITLE: Help means... AUTHOR: Calicia SHOW: Sailor Moon PAIRING: Kunzite/Zoisite RATING: PG NOTES: Written because of EmGee’s A-Z challenge. I wrote my story backwards (Z-A). ‘Xanthic’ is a botanical term meaning ‘yellowish,’ according to my dictionary. Sheesh, these are hard. But fun ;-) Zoisite stood before the static image, thinking, and turned at a slight sound. Youma had come down here, which was rare. Xanthic plants which grew sparsely in the Dark Kingdom withered and died as the youma passed. Wondering why some of them had come when he had not summoned any, Zoisite scanned the cavern suspiciously. Very likely, this was the work of his rival, Nephrite, trying to get him out of the way. Unfortunately for Nephrite, Zoisite had not intention of falling into one of his traps or being ambushed. Turning rapidly at the sound of a footfall behind him, he was ready to attack his attacker first. Smiling, he let his hand drop as he saw who it was. “Ready for someone to attack you, Zoisite-chan?” Kunzite asked him, teaching out and tucking one of Zoisite’s many stray locks behind his ear. “Queen Beryl would be pleased at your alertness, but not, I think, if you destroyed Nephrite.” “Perhaps,” Zoisite replied, tilting his head into Kunzite’s hand. “Only...if she didn’t know it was me...” “No,” Kunzite said, dropping his hand to Zoisite’s shoulder. “Many have tried to deceive her, but none have succeeded. Let’s not stay on this topic, Zoisite-chan,” he added, drawing his lover closer. “Kunzite-sama,” Zoisite said, green eyes widening in feigned innocence. “Just what do you think we should talk about instead?” “If you can’t guess, maybe you need...help...in using your imagination.” “Help...what an interesting term for it,” Zoisite said, leaning his head on Kunzite’s shoulder. “Got any more of these alternative meanings to teach me, or shall we move onto the ‘help’ part?” ABCD “Far be it from me not to help my student,” Kunzite said, running one finger underneath Zoisite’s chin and tilting the smaller man’s face up. Eyes flickered slightly as both took in every detail about each other at this moment, before Kunzite bent his head to kiss Zoisite. “Don’t stop,” Zoisite murmured when Kunzite broke the kiss. “Come with me, Zoisite-chan,” Kunzite said quietly. “But...,” Zoisite began in protest. “A place more private,” Kunzite explained, his breath tickling Zoisite’s ear before the two of them teleported away to their room.
