Flint Fireforge
 
Flint, a hill dwarf from Hillhome, is the proud grandson of Reghar Fireforge. His profession was metalsmithing but he liked to create many works with his hands. It was because of this ability that he was invited to visit Qualinost to trade his wares. In the elven capital he created toys for the children and met a half-elf who would become a lifetime companion, Tanis.  

During his travels with the companions, Flint was an inexhaustable source of complaints, mostly about "that doorknob of a kender" Tas. He also adamantly refused to ride horses or get in a boat (Caramon once almost drowned him). Although he wouldn't admit it, he had a special place in his heart for Tas and is now with the kender under a great vallenwood in the sky. Flint died of a weak heart in Godshome.
