| Gilthanas is the younger son of the Speaker of the Sun, ruler of Qualinost. He is haughty and proud of his royal elven heritage. He never liked his sister's infatuation with Tanis Half-Elven from the beginning and didn't actually think much of Tanis himself until he grew to know him better. In Ergoth he met and fell in love with a Kagonesti woman named Silvara. It was not until they reached the Monument of the Silver Dragon that he found out that she was actually a dragon. He found this very difficult to bear but he later accepted it. The two have not been seen in many years. | |
