Sydney walked out of the school, his step was not that of someone
who was enjoying their day, his blond head was down, his step was
a slow trudge. Unlocking the drivers side door of his silver Mercury
Lynx, he tossed his lunch bag and the tote bag he had brought with
him into the passengers side, and slid his 6' 1" muscular body
behind the wheel. As he started the car, his hands moved quickly,
off went the radio, up went the air, and on went his seatbelt. As he
drove out of the parking lot, he lifted a hand in a half wave to Shelly
Dunham, the lead teacher.
The drive home was silent, and uneventful. Sydney used that time to
let the events of the day wash away. Or at least he tried. Today,
the day was just not washing away, it had been the day from hell.
He was almost late this morning due to a long line at McDonalds,
the girl at the drive though kept acting as if no one had to work but
her. It took almost 15 minutes to get his breakfast and juice. Then
on the way in to work trying to make up some lost time, Sydney
was pulled over for speeding. The officer was nice but firm, slow
down.
When Sydney pulled up at the school, his left tire blew, he coasted
in on the flat, and made a mental note to call the auto club.
Sydney gathered his half eaten breakfast, tote bag and the lunch
bag, and stepped into the school.
As he walked down the hallway, he got several strange looks from
the parents of the preschoolers. He chuckled to himself, and just
smiled and nodded to them.
"Excuse me, are you the Principal?" one lady had asked, her little
boy in tow.
"Mrs. Kellogge is the Principal here Ma'am." Sydney stated nicely.
"Vice principal?" the woman asked persisting.
Sydney smiled again, "No Ma'am, I teach kindergarten." Then
walked off with a nod, the woman left behind him her mouth hanging
open. Sydney heard her say incredulously to another parent, "HE is
a kindergarten teacher???"
Sydney chuckled as he walked up the hallway to the office, parents
often acted that way to the tall Norse god looking man. At 6' 1" he
wasn't that tall, but he did work out a good deal with weights, and
of course kept in good shape. He wasn't Arnold Swartsenagger but
he would do in a pinch.
"Good morning Mr. Brookings." Miss Landers, the school secretary,
greeted him, a very warm smile.
"Good morning Miss Landers" Sydney nodded and smiled, but tried
to stay professional and distant. Ever since he came to the school
she had been hitting on him. Sydney was polite but firm, he wanted
nothing to do with her.
Sydney finished signing in, and tossed the pink card into the basket,
he checked his mail box and took out the stack that was in it. Then
after a thought he went to the supply cupboard and got out four
more bottles of glue and half a dozen pair of scissors before
walking out.
Two more new students just this week, Sydney cringed when he
said yet another add slip. He walked down to his room, number
three, and opened the door.
The heat in the room hit him like a blast furnace. "Damn!" he
thought, "I thought they were going to have that fixed." He set his
things on his desk and walked across the room to open the window
and let some cool air in.
That done he went about his normal morning tasks, and hoped the
day would get better. But not a chance, the copy machine not only
ran out of toner and paper while he was trying to use it, it ate one
original then died. The ditto machine was little better, it jammed
three times, and ripped his ditto. Then the bell rang. Sydney rushed
to get to class before the students, and dropped all the copies he
had been able to make. Before he could pick them all up, three
students came tearing up the hallway, and right cross the copies,
dirty footprints over everything. "Slow down!" Sydney snapped, "No
running in the hallway. Walk boys." The words came out all at once
without even thinking. The trio slowed down and walked.
It was windy and a bit cold outside, so the kids were wild. Sydney
wondered after the third time someone got hit if it was a full moon.
"Teacher, teacher." Sydney looked down at the little girl who was
patting him on the forearm, and not to gently at that. Her nose was
running green, and she had two fingers in her mouth. "Yes
Kayleena?" he said gently. The little girl kept patting talking though
the fingers. "Teacher" she was not even looking at him. Sydney did
a quick count to ten, and took hold of her hand, stopping the
patting. "KAYleena! What is my name?"
"Mr. Brookings." Kayleena stated with a smile.
"Then use it." Sydney told her gently, for the 11 millionth time.
By lunch time, Sydney was about at his wits end. His class was the
over flow class for the district. Students from all over were sent
here when their class was too full. And of course, teachers are not
stupid, if given a chance to reduce your class size by one or two,
who do you send? The best child in the class, or the one with the
worst behavior? Sydney's class was filled with 5 year olds who
were one step away from suspension.
Most people don't believe kindergartners can be that naughty.
These are the same people don't have kids or their own or who
have never been around the little ankle bitters. The kind of people
who see one well behaved child and think all children are like that.
Sydney knew better. Not only was he painfully aware of how much
damage the little crumb crunches could be, he also knew first hand
about how vicious they were. Having seen the way the little demon
spawn could beat the bejesus out of each other or a toy, with little
to no provocation.
Sydney really did like children, he loved them a lot, and loved
teaching, but this class was wearing on his nerves. He stepped into
the teachers lounge, and tossed his lunch bag on the table. Then
dug in his pocket for some change and bought a Pepsi and a
snickers from the machine.
"Rough morning?" Sally Hanson asked, she was one of the
preschool teachers.
Sydney nodded, "I don't know what they are thinking half the time."
Sydney opened his lunch and made a face at the contents, but put
the rice dish in the microwave and set the timer, then sat down and
opened the salad. "Sean kicked Alyssa in the back for no reason.
He was wearing cowboy boots. Alexis poured out all the soap all
over the bathroom when she was in there, then peed on the floor.
Michael and Bobby got into a fight just as we were lining up for
lunch. And just as we walked into the lunchroom Isaac shoved
Brianna and knocked over half the lunch line."
"There is a full moon tonight" came comment from one of the aides.
"At least." Sydney said eating a few bites of his salad. The
microwave dinged, just them, Sydney took out his lunch and opened
it, burning his fingers on the steam.
"Take them outside later today" Sally suggested. "let them run a
while."
"Good idea." Sydney admitted as he pushed the rice dish aside, he
had only picked at it. It caught a small piece of the candy wrapper
on the bottom unseen by Sydney who took another bite of the
candy bar.
"I thought you weren't supposed to eat candy?" A voice at the door
spoke.
Sydney looked up and saw Jason Conrad, the sign language
interpreter, and a personal friend, entering with his lunch.
Sydney waved a hand, "Nah, I can have it, just not a lot."
"A soda too?" questioned Jason, "What would Tony say?"
Sydney colored slightly, and lowered his voice as Jason sat beside
him. "You know what Tony would say, but Tony is not going to find
out, IS he?"
"Who is Tony?" Sally asked.
Sydney hesitated for a second, people didn't always react well to
his lifestyle choice, but then he shrugged, what the heck. "Tony is
my SO." Sydney said after one more moment of thought.
Sally nodded, "I knew it," she said with a half grin.
"Knew what?" Sydney asked confused.
"All the good ones are either married or gay." She said with a laugh.
Sydney tossed back his head and roared with laughter.
The afternoon was little better than the morning, the students would
not be quiet for rest time, a parent came to the door to complain
about the lack of swings on the playground, and the minute Sydney
turned his back, the class went crazy. Talking first, then class got
up, heading for the drinking fountain and bathroom. Then the
running, and a crash. The whole thing only had taken a few
seconds. Sydney turned back and growled, "Boys and girls, back to
your table names now. Heads down."
Most of the students moved back to their seats. Sydney was able
to finish his conversation before the next disaster struck. It involved
a wooden block and the window, they met a great speed. The
resulting crash brought the next door teacher over. Reemeshah was
set to time out for the rest of her school career, and the custodian
came in with her broom.
After school Sydney was just ready to head out when the principal
stopped in his room. "Mr. Brookings, I am glad I caught you before
you left. They found a regular teacher for the class room. She will
start on Monday. Tomorrow is your last day."
"Of course." Sydney nodded, "I will see everything is ready for her."
Mrs. Kellogge left with out even so much as a well done or thank
you.
Sydney felt like he had been sucker punched, he had known that he
was only there till a regular teacher was hired. But damn it, this was
his class, rotten little brats that they were, they were his. Sydney
sighed a made a mental note to call sub service the next day, and
walked out of his room.
As Sydney unlocked the door and walked up the steps of the
apartment, he knew he just wanted a beer and to lay down for a
while.
"Syd? Is that you?"
"Who the fuck else would it be." Sydney thought, or at least he
meant to think it, unfortunately, it came spilling out of his mouth.
"SYDNEY OLIVER BROOKINGS!! What did you just say?"
Sydney winced at the fullness of his name, "I'm sorry Tony, I didn't
mean to swear, it was just the day from hell, I mean heck, yes
heck." Sydney did have the good sense to look sheepish and
contrite.
"I don't care what kind of day it was little boy. You know better than
to use that kind of language, OR to speak to me in that tone of
voice." Tony answered sternly, as he came out of the kitchen. Tony
relieved Sydney of the lunch and tote bags. "Corner, now" A
stinging swat helped Sydney on his way.
Sydney pouted and yelped at the swat, but walked to the corner in
the kitchen, placing his face in it, standing as he had been taught to,
straight and tall, feet flat on the floor, nose right in the corner, hand
behind his back up and away from his bottom.
Tony watched his lover for a moment, then unpacked the lunch bag,
it was obvious that Sydney had the day from hell but discipline must
be maintained. Sydney had a bad mouth of him with they first got
together, so bad he was in danger of losing his teaching
assignment. Tony had worked for months scolding trying to clean up
Sydney's language. Nothing worked. Even the old tried and true
method of soap was not an option. Sydney was highly allergic to
soap in his mouth, every time Tony tried it, Sydney ended up
painting with far wall with the projectile vomiting. Castor oil, cod-
liver oil, nasty concoctions all had the same problem, Sydney could
eat almost anything he liked, but when he didn't like, REALLY didn't
like it, then his gag reflex took over and he spewed like a geyser.
Thus Tony had to use other methods to deal with his brat's mouth.
Sydney was big man, but Tony Calazone was even bigger, standing
6' 5" tall, he and Sydney had met at the gym one night, both over
stressed and working out their aggressions. It was lust at first sight
and love at second. They went to a little Italian restaurant Tony
knew called Antonio's and shared seafood and pasta and wine.
Somewhere between the salad and the shrimp Sydney stole a kiss,
his full lips brushing Tony's for one brief moment in time, then two
pair of eyes met, Tony's dark black eyes caught Sydney's vivid blue
ones, the moment was filled with electricity then Tony pressed in,
raping Sydney's lips with his own, his tongue claiming the sweet
mouth for his own. In the one brief second two souls met, and
merged as one.
Tony set the containers on the counter. Opening one, he saw it had
been heated but barely touched, the cheese on the top just picked
at. Tony opened the next one, his lips pressed together, the salad
was about half gone. The third contained the fruit. A sectioned
orange, deseeded even because he knew his loved hated the
seeds, it was not even touched. Tony tried to fight the anger welling
up inside him down. But he was not very happy. What he saw next
in the bag made his blood run hot.
Tucked into the bottom of the bag, almost as if it had been over
looked, was part of a candy bar wrapper. A Snickers bar. Tony
held the offending piece of evidence in his hand and literally saw
red. As he counted to ten, eight times he tried to get his temper
under control.
"Sydney come here." Tony said softly as he turned a kitchen chair
around, and sat down. Sydney walked over slowly, and swallowed
deeply, Tony looked angry.
"Yes Tony?"
Tony counted to ten again, and held up the offending wrapper.
"Care to explain this?" he asked sharply.
Sydney swore silently, he thought he had gotten all of that wrapper.
"amm its a candy wrapper Tony." Sydney answered squirming as
he stood before his lover.
"I can see that, why is it in YOUR bag?"
"ammmm"
"Sydney." The word came long and drawn out, the warning clear.
"I had it for lunch Tony." Sydney mumbled.
"So I see," Tony's eyes were dark with anger, and not a small
amount of hurt shown in them as well. "and are you supposed to eat
candy bars for lunch?"
"No Tony."
"Are you supposed to eat candy bars AT ALL!?" The last two
words came out in a roar.
Sydney flinched at the decibel level of the question. "No Tony."
Tony counted again, his jaw muscle working hard. "Take down your
pants."
Sydney flinched when he heard that, his stomach was in knots, but
without hesitating, his hands went to his belt, unbuckling it. Tony
held out his hand for his lover's belt. Sydney's heart sunk as he
pulled the belt from the loops, and handed placed it in Tony's hand.
Tony watched his love unfasten his pants and lower them, a
moment later his boxers came down as well. Tony took Sydney's
hand, and pulled the tall man over his knee. As Sydney settled over
Tony's thighs, his bottom cheeks clenched reflexively. "Now that I
have your attention, I want some answers." Tony said after two
stinging swats to Sydney's rump.
Sydney had yelped but that was the only sound he made. "I don't
want to talk about it." He stated flatly though clenched teeth.
Tony was not impressed and let this be known though Sydney's
bottom, clearly leaving the message that they WOULD talk and talk
now.
"OUCH okay okay!!" Sydney relented just as his bottom was getting
to that shade of crimson that resembled a ripening tomato. "I was
fired today." Sydney blurted out, then amended. "well not fired but
they found a REAL teacher."
Tony turned Sydney over and pulled him into a hug before the
words were totally out of his lover's mouth. "Oh baby, I am sorry, I
know how much you liked working with those kids." Tony soothed
his love rubbing his back.
Sydney hugged his lover tightly, savoring the way Tony possessed
his mouth for a toe curling kiss. Sydney knew he was not off the
hook for the candy, but this felt good for now. "Its okay, I will
survive, I will call Rosy at sub service tomorrow and get a new
assignment. I admit the little demon spawns were getting to me, but
in a bad way as well as a good way."
"Why don't you ask Rosy for some high school assignments
instead." Tony suggested, his hand lightly stroking over Sydney's
back.
"I will." Sydney agreed, hugging his love close. "I am sorry Tony, I
didn't mean to snap at you when I came home, it was just the day
from hel...err heck, I mean heck."
Tony let one swat connect even as he chuckled. "I know baby, but
we have worked too hard for you to backslide without reparations."
"Yes Tony," Sydney said wincing from the swat. "does this mean I
am forgiven?"
For swearing yes, for having a bad day you were never in trouble to
begin with, and yes, even for snapping at me." Tony's smile
warmed Sydney's heart, "However,"
Sydney's stomach gave a lurch at that word.
"There is still the matter of the candy bar you had for lunch."
Sydney's eyes lowered from his lover's. "But it was a really BAD
day." Sydney protested.
"Sydney." The one word was a warning. "Need I remind you what
could have happened to you?" Tony spoke very firmly.
"Tony, I have been controlling my blood sugar for years now, I
know when I can and can't have a candy bar." Sydney started.
Tony cut him off. "and the soda?"
"I am going to kill Jason." Sydney muttered with conviction.
"oh? Jason knew?" Tony tucked that little bit of information away for
later when he talked with Jason's partner. Sydney sunk lower on
Tony's lap, wincing at getting his friend in trouble. "No, Jason didn't
tell me, though he should have. I could taste it when I kissed you."
Sydney resolved right then and there to increase his oral hygiene
habits at work.
Tony chuckled at the look on Sydney's face, and patted his bottom.
"I know you gage the sugar, but we had an agreement, you may not
have a candy bar AND a soda at the same time without prior
approval by me and even then only after having a good meal first.
What if I had thought to treat you with a decadent dessert? Then
you really would have been in a pickle. Or do you like being rushed
to the emergency room in a diabetic coma?" During this, Tony's
voice had gone from calm and gentle to hard and strict.
Sydney colored as his lover scolded him, feeling more and more like the five year olds he had been teaching than a grown man.
"I will not risk loosing you Sydney, I love you too much to let you take the frivolous chances you have in the past with your health." Tony patted Sydney's bottom again, and turned him over on his lap easily. Sydney's bottom was still
pink, a color Tony intended to change quickly.
Tony lifted his right hand again, his left anchoring Sydney around the waist. Tony's hard had began spanking Sydney's bottom again, hard crisp spanks, raining down on the tender pink flesh. The spanking was going to be a
good long one, Sydney could tell, just by the way Tony held him.
Over and over the hand fell, concentrating first on changing the color of the flesh at hand from pink to bright red to dark red, each smack set to bring maximum effect and color to the poor rump. The color extended down each well
muscled thigh and even the tender crevice was not neglected. Sydney had long since given up being stoic about the whole thing and just sobbed. His kicking and squirming had been replaced with flinching and twitching as the spanking
wore on.
Finally, Tony stopped, letting Sydney catch his breath for a short time, then picked up the belt Sydney had removed at the beginning.
"PLEASE NO."
The cry came but was ignored, the belt lashed down with terrible force, it connected with the red sore flesh and made a sound like a gunshot. The pain was horrible, it cut though Sydney like a knife, obliterating any thoughts of
reprieve, any thought of begging off.
Again and again the belt swished though the air, it stung and marked the burning flesh. Sydney screamed in the pain of the strapping, he knew his lover was right, he knew Tony was only doing this because of his love. Sydney knew this
hurt his love's heart more than any strap could hurt Sydney's bottom.
A dozen swats later, the belt dropped to the floor. Tony turned Sydney and slipped one strong arm under Sydney's back, the other under his knees, he lifted his sobbing mate in his arms, bronze muscles ripple with strength
, holding him close as Sydney's arms wrapped about Tony's neck. His face tucked against Tony's shoulder, the sobs pouring from Sydney's face as he clung to his love. Tony carried Sydney to the rocking chair, he sat down,
cradling Sydney in his lap, and began to rock. His hand gently rubbed Sydney's back, comforting his love as Sydney cried out his pain and grief. Letting the tears wash away the pain, and the anguish of the day.
Tony made soft gentle cooing sounds as his love sobbed and slowly quieted. Rocking him as they sat together in the chair, holding Sydney as one would a distraught child. Tony brushed back the short locks of sunshine color
hair, his fingers removing one last tear. "Its okay now baby, all is forgiven." Tony soothed as Sydney began litany of "I'm sorry." again.
"It's all over now Sydney, I just couldn't bear to lose you." Tony whispered.
"I know Tony, I will never do that again, I promise." Sydney hiccuped.
Tony laughed softly, "Now there is a pie crust promise, easily made, easily broken. I know you are going to do it again, but I hope this spanking makes you think twice for a long time."
Sydney laughed gently, "You know me pretty well don't you." He said, more a statement than a question.
"Yes, I know you my love, you are the other half of my heart, the yin to my yang, the day to my night. Tony mused softly. "My alpha, my beginning, and my ending, in you I know love, and acceptance, and I will not let anyone even you
jeopardize that. Your diabetes is not totally under control and you have to be careful, and my love, I will keep reminding you not to harm what is mine. And You are MINE my love."
"Yes, Yours" Sydney smiled, he loved it when his huge lover became so possessive. "As you are mine."
Tony laughed and possessed his lover again with his lips, ravishing his lips with a soul shattering kiss, into which Sydney melted. Tongues parryed and thrusted, they dodged as they entwined, and alternately sucked into the other
ones mouth. A single long affirmation of love.
At last Tony broke the kiss, only to place another one on his lovers
golden brow. "I would love to continue this baby, but I have to get
back to restaurant before the dinner rush and I am already late."
Sydney tightened his hold on Tony's neck. "What's the sense of
being the boss if you can't be late once in a while?"
Tony chuckled and set Sydney to his feet. "Come on baby, lets get
you cleaned up. "You have a lot of dishes to wash."
"Aw Tony, not tonight, I just got spanked." Sydney whined.
"And you will again if you don't get a move on." Tony said sternly.
"You knew it could happen, washing dishes was your choice, not
mine. Remember? You chose to do dishes at the restaurant for three
months rather than getting spanked for that last speeding ticket."
Sydney groaned and turned pale suddenly, he stepped from his
lover quickly. "I remember Tony," Sydney said, not meeting Tony's
eyes. "I'll go get ready now."
Tony noticed the change, and placed one hand on his lover's arm,
"Sydney?" Tony didn't have to say more, he waited. Then when
Sydney didn't say anything else, Tony added, "It will only go harder
if you don't tell me now."
Sydney swallowed, and for all his 6'1" height 195 lbs he looked like
a big child standing there toeing the floor, not looking up. Tony took
hold of Sydney's chin, lifting his face until Sydney met Tony's eyes.
"What happened?"
"ammm I got a speeding ticket this morning." Sydney mumbled.
"WHAT??"
to be continued, maybe
