A jeep speed into the alley. It slowed down just enough for Tony to jump in. The moment Tony hit the seat, Damalis floored it and raced after the van. The occupants hung on for dear life.

In the van, Sydney winced as the he tried to sit up. He and Jason had stayed put as their lovers had said, but after a few minutes they couldn't wait any longer. Riddled with worry. Sydney had crept to the door and inched it open to listen. At that moment a very large man kicked the door open, knocking Sydney back into Jason who was right behind him.

With in 15 seconds, both boys were bound, and being carried to the waiting van. Sydney struggled wildly and bit the hand that covered his mouth. Letting out one tortured scream. "Tony!!" before he was hit very hard. He heard his lover cry his name as he was shoved into the van.

"Okay, when we get out of this I am going to listen to every war story and go on every Weekend Warrior camping trip they want without complaint." Sydney vowed.

On the other side of the back of the van Jason lay still and quiet. He was terrified but wanted to be brave for Sydney, who for all his size and muscles was more like a big kid. He watched Sydney struggle for a moment, then spoke softly. "Sydney, calm down, your going to hurt yourself."

"I want Tony!" Sydney whined.

"I know, I want Ohanko too, but that doesn't mean we get what we want. I am sure they heard you yell so they are probably looking for us right now."

"But how will they find us?" tears stood in Sydney's eyes.

Jason moved closer to Sydney, "They just will." He said firmly.

The van raced at breakneck speeds around corners and though red lights to shake the jeep off that was on its tail. For over an hour it darted though the town till finally they seemed to lose it. Sydney and Jason were bruised and battered when the van finally came to a stop and strong hands jerked them out.

They were tossed into a small dark room. No light came in around the door after it was slammed shut. "This isn't good." Sydney said.

"The guys will get us out Syddy, its going to be okay, don't worry." Jason comforted his friend his arms wrapped around him.

"Wait, how did you get your hands free?" Sydney asked.

"Oh, double jointed." Jason said as he untied Sydney. "And limber fingers from signing." Jason was a Sign Language Interpreter.

Sydney rubbed the feeling back in his hands and tried to stand He swayed. "Whoa, that was not good, Jas, do you have a candy bar on you?"

"Sydney, you know your not supposed to. Oh wait, you mean?"

"I really need something Jas. The stress is making my blood sugar wacky. I took my insulin just before I got hurt, cause we always eat right after work, only we didn't and now I have all that insulin in my body and I haven't eaten. Good thing I have my." Sydney's voice stopped.

"SHIT!"

"What??"

"SHIT!"

"What??"

"SHIT!"

"WHAT??" Jason roared.

"I don't have it, ohh shit, Tony is going to kill me."

"Kill you?"

"Yes as in dead as a door nail, you have to help me find it Jas."

"Find what Syddy?"

"He said if I lost it again he was going to. Ohh god no." Sydney's voice was getting frantic.

"Sydney! Calm down, What did you lose?" Jason groped in the darkness for his friend, and laid a calming hand on his arm.

Sydney shrugged off the arm and scrambled on the floor. "We have to find it Jason, we have to!"

Jason grabbed Sydney's arm again, and pulled him hard. "WHAT are we looking for?"

"My insulin kit." Sydney said softly. "It was in my pocket and its gone now."

Jason released Sydney's arm and began the slow task of searching the floor in the dark.

The jeep had drifted back to allow the van to think they had lost them, while still keeping in the van in sight. Tony pulled the walkie-talkie out from under the seat. "Alpha male to alpha 3 come in 3."

"Alpha three here, alpha male, at chow line tick and flea infestation advise over."

"Leave alpha 6 to pest control and proceed to co-ordinance X-ray, Baker by Tango Charlie obtain visual on silver kennel. Do not engage, Kennel contains kitten and cub, repeat Do not engage kennel contains kitten and cub over."

"Shit!" came the reply after a long moment. "Affirmative alpha male obtain visual do not engage. Alpha 3 mush over and out."

"Alpha male to alpha 5 did you copy alpha 5 over?"

"Copy alpha male, ETA 2 minutes over."

"Copy that alpha 5, alpha male over and out."

"We'll get them back alpha male, alpha 5 over and out."

"We will get them back." Damalis added as he drove.

"I know and when we do I am going to hug that brat of mine then blister his tail until he can't sit for a month." Tony said forcefully.

"Oh?" Damalis queried.

"The door was unlocked not broken in." Ohanko said his face grim.

"Ohhhh" Damalis said as he understood now. The brats had opened the door after being told to stay put.

When the jeep reached the rendezvous point a couple of minutes later, they saw a sleek black Jag pulling out after the van. Alpha 5 better known as Quincy Stanton, was in the black Jag. Alpha three better known as Madison Thorn was quickly briefed before he joined the jeep in the pursuit, on a vintage '57 Harley.

Sydney and Jason had finished searching the small room and were sitting huddle together on the floor, arms around each other for comfort.

"Hate the dark." Sydney said sullenly.

"I know, I do too but there is nothing we can do about it.

The door opened bathing the room in a bright light. The young men winced and shielded their eyes. Rough hands grabbed them up, retying their hands, then shoved Sydney out of the room into the bright light. Jason was left in the dark.

A fist drove itself into Sydney's belly hard enough to make him gag. Sydney gasped when he could see again, the man before him was the portly man from the restaurant.

"Now boy, we are going to have a lesson in manners."

"Go to hell." Sydney snarled. That little act of defiance earned Sydney a split lip.

"I have all night boy. You might want to keep a civil tongue in your head." The portly man said.

Sydney glared at the man but kept silent.

"Good, you can be taught to be obedient. Now, since your affront to me was started by your not watching where you were going, we are going to have a little exercise in keeping your eyes open."

Two large men tied Sydney to a rack, his arms and legs spread wide.

"As long as you keep watching nothing will happen, the moment you shut your eyes, even to blink you will be punished." The portly man said.

At that moment a stick seemed to leap out of no where right at Sydney's eyes. Sydney flinched and closed his eyes to protect them. The stick stopped and a hand slapped his face hard, his head snapped so hard it hurt, then again.

"Naughty naughty, remember what I told you, that's two for flinching. Do try and do a better job this time."

Sydney was getting very tired of the portly man very quickly. The stick leapt at his eyes again, this time Sydney managed to keep them open. The stick stopped inches from his right eye and backed off. Then again at his left eye. Sydney again stopped himself from flinching. Again the stick stopped short of the mark. "I can do this." Sydney thought to himself. The next movement was not that of a stick but of a whip. It cracked right by his face, and without thinking he closed his eyes. It was only for a second but that still counted. The harsh hand slapped his face twice again. His head lashed back and forth from the force of the blows. Sydney felt the tears in his eyes. This hurt. His jaw was aching and he had a bad headache.

For more than 10 minutes the game went on. Sometimes Sydney avoided the blows but more often he was hit as they tried every dirty trick in the book.

Finally at long last the portly man stopped the game. "Very good boy, you are learning to watch. Now let's go on to the next little game. Its called this little piggy." A young man who seemed to be no more than 18 or so, removed Sydney's shoes gently.

"You remember the old rhyme don't you? This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home. This little piggy had roast beef, and this little piggy had none, but this little piggy cried wee wee wee all the way home." As the portly man said the rhyme he wiggled each one of Sydney's toes. "Well this is why the little piggy cried wee wee wee." The moment the portly man stepped back, a black-haired man with a hook nose stepped forward, in his hands was a cane. Sydney's eyes widened as the man took position at Sydney's feet. He drew back the cane and let it fly at the bottoms of Sydney's feet, on the heels, with a resounding CRACK.

The scream that came from Sydney was chilling. A scream of absolute agony. Sydney had never felt pain like it before. His body shook. His feet felt as if they had been dipped in lava. His back arched and his testicles climbed up into his body for protection from the white hot pain that filled his entire existence.

Then as the pain started to come down another blaze of pain radiated from Sydney's feet as the cane whipped across both soles again, this time in the middle at the arch. Sydney screamed again, tears rolling down his face. He was scarcely able to catch his breath before the third blow came right across the balls of his feet. His toes were numb yet filled with white hot pain. The pain so intense Sydney saw stars before he slipped into the darkness.

Tony put the walkie talkie down as he finished the last of the instructions. His face grim. They had heard Sydney's screams of pain and only the restraining hands of Damalis and Ohanko kept him from storming in without thought.

"Wait." Ohanko said, "We will get our boys out, you just have to be patient."

Tony nodded grimly. It had been 15 minutes since the screams had stopped. Tony swallowed his fears and concentrated on getting his precious brat back.

The plan was not complicated. Complicated plans often met with disaster. Each member of the team was situated outside a door or window searching for where the boys were kept. Once found they would simply take out the guards and go in and get them. Sydney's screams had helped locate where he was being held. Madison watched as Sydney lost consciousness, his heart hardened to towards the bastard who wielded the cane and the portly man who was giving the orders. The men left the room leaving Sydney with a young dark-haired boy. The boy carefully tended Sydney's feet, wrapping them in clothes that looked icy.

A guard growled something at the boy who stood between him and Sydney, the boy puffed up his chest and answered back. Clearly trying to protect Sydney from the guards. The guard's answer was to cuff the boy aside. Then he and the other guard unlocked Sydney from the rack and dragged him into another room. One that was pitch black. They dropped him and slammed the door. The moment before the door shut Madison saw Jason's face. They now had visual on where the boys were being kept.

Madison radioed Tony to tell him where the boys were. "Alpha 3 to alpha male. Have visual on kitten and cub. Kitten needs vet. Two tick infesting kennel, one flea. Over."

"Alpha male here, take out ticks and flea, time to walk the pets. Over."

"Copy that alpha male, proceeding with dip. Over and out."

Quincy slipped up next to Madison. "You take the one on the right, I will get the big one on the left and the little one." Madison said quietly as they moved closer to the door.

Quincy nodded as they kicked in the door. The fight was not long lasting. A single shot in the shoulder of each guard took care of them. Its difficult to continue a fight when the nerves to your hand are severed.

The boy tried to make a run for it. Madison caught him in two steps. "Oh no little one. You are coming with me." Then Madison cuffed the boy across the head, knocking him out. As he hefted him over one shoulder, Quincy kicked open the door where Sydney and Jason were being held.

Jason was in a protective stance over his fallen friend, blinking in the bright light.

"Easy cub, no biting." Quincy said gently. Instantly Jason relaxed and almost sagged. Help was here, he didn't have to be brave anymore.

"Sydney's hurt." Jason said as Quincy stepped in.

"Help me lift him." Quincy ordered, as he grasp Sydney's hands and pulled him up. Jason helped as best he could. It was not an easy task. Sydney was as big as most of the men on the team, and bigger than a few. Quincy grunted as he got Sydney over his shoulder. "That's it. No one gets a brat who is bigger than me again." He muttered.

They met up with the rest of the team outside by the jeep. The guards and the portly man were all tied up, waiting for the police. The portly man seemed to be missing his shoes and sported six welts on his feet. Quincy and Madison didn't need to ask what happened. At Madison's questioning look, Tony just shrugged. "He confessed." And set down a small tape recorder by the bound man. He then nodded at Madison's shoulder. "What about him?"

"He was helping Sydney," Madison said. "I will take care of him."

Tony nodded and got in the back of the jeep with Sydney cradling him in his powerful arms. Ohanko wrapped his brat in a tight hug, touching him all over to be sure he was not hurt. Jason was clinging to the warrior tightly, murmuring words too soft for anyone else to hear. Suddenly the Sioux warrior swatted his brat and then laughed as he ruffled his hair. "Just wait 'til I get you home little cub." Jason swallowed but got in the front of the jeep. While his lover climbed into the back to be with Sydney.

Madison took the boy to his Harley, and slapping him awake. "Okay boy, you have two choices. You can stay here with your boss and his friends or you can take your chances with me. If you stay with them you will go to jail for a very very long time. If you take your chances with me. You will be in some pain for a time. But you will not go to jail. Choose now."

The boy thought a moment looking up into Madison's black eyes. Madison could see the fear in the boy's blue eyes but there seemed to be something more. The boy didn't hesitate. "I will take my chances with you." He whispered.

Madison nodded and got on his bike, he got a spare helmet from the saddle bag and handed it to the boy. "Put it on and climb on, We have some serious talking to do." The boy complied and they rode off.

Meanwhile, Damalis was driving quickly back to Tony's place. Ohanko was in the back with Tony looking after Sydney. The drive was short as they didn't take the same route as they had to get to the warehouse. Tony carried his love up the stairs and into the apartment. He set Sydney down gently on their bed.

Sydney had woken up in the jeep and was whimpering, his feet hurt terribly. Ohanko gave him a shot of glucose, then a pain killer. "You're lucky kitten. The ice pack that boy put on your feet helped a great deal. Its not going to be comfortable walking for a while, but you won't have any lasting damage. And I suspect the neuropathy will help with the pain as well. But your feet were not cut so there shouldn't be a problem."

Sydney nodded, relieved, the neuropathy caused his feet to be partly numb normally, a common side effect of the diabetes. He and Tony had to do daily inspections on his feet to check for blisters and cuts since he didn't always feel them. The last thing he wanted was an infection.

The shot Ohanko gave Sydney made him sleepy, and just before he drifted off he heard Tony's voice saying, "We will talk about the door later little boy." Sydney snuggled closer into Tony's arms safe and secure.
