That's a picture of me.  It looks a lot like me, really.  I like Sliders and the X-Files and my new current obsession is Roswell.  You know, Roswell like the place in New Mexico.  You know, New Mexico as one of the territories bought from OLD Mexico.  Yes, it's in the United States.

Besides watching (or obsessing as some prefer to call it) Sliders, Roswell, and The X-Files, I love writing. I've written a short story, some poetry, my own soap opera (Awakenings--107 episodes), my own series (Shadows of Darkness--15 stories), 3 completed novels, and about 7 uncompleted novels.  I have recently started writing fan fiction for the 3 above shows, but most of it is Sliders fan-fic.  I also enjoy reading. My favorite books are Jane Eyre by Charolette Bronte, and A Bridge To Terabithia by Katherine Patterson. I also loved Shakespeare's play, Hamlet.

I have four best friends (listed in no particular order): Sarah, Lea, Kat, and Tabitha.  I met Sarah, Lea and Tabitha my sophomore year of high school--they were all freshmen.  I met Kat last year at Blackburn College--she is a senior there. My other group of friends are all membes of The Write Stuff, a writing critique group I belong to.  They are all great people, and all of my friends mean the world to me.  :)

I live with my mom and dad in a small Illinois town. I have an older sister, Michelle, and an adorable 8 year old nephew, Nicholas.  I have lots of family around the area, most of whom I never see because...well, no good reason, actually. I have goldfish for pets because I'm allergic to cats and dogs.  But if I had a dog, it would be a golden retriever, named Sunny.
