Commander Uhura acts as a reluctant advisor to a space movie while on Vulcan, and accidentally takes on the role of a captain in Starfleet when she and the movie stars she’s advising are kidnapped by pirates.

Stardate 2285.5 - Lady and the Hawk
While refitting the Bounty on Vulcan, Uhura must betray her friends in an effort to help Spock's mother complete the fal tor pan.  Only a woman from Spock's past can save his life, but can Amanda convince her in time to help them.

Stardate 2264 - 2295 - Letters
A romantic, but misguided, relationship from Uhura’s past follows her from Starfleet, through her years on the Enterprise, to her tenure as the President of the United States of Africa in a series of one-sided letters.
