Saintships are designed for transporting Church cargoes and passangers. They are large enough to transport diplomatic missions, colonists in hibernation capsuals, or resupply missions to Church enclaves. Currently, 6 Saintships are known to be operating in the Deep, the Sts Lenin, Kennedy, Gorbochev, Ruhr, Einstein, and Muir. Saintships have been built at Cassandra Belt as well as at Carter, though the Carter-built ships are delivered unarmed due to Carter Technum regulations prohibiting delivery of armed ships to private parties or other nongovernmental entities.

The Saintships and the Church of the Future Man were conceptualised by Mark Lawrence for the Classic Traveller adventure "Rescue on Galatea", © 1982 by FASA. The design of the ship is © 2002 by Keven R. Pittsinger, as are the deck plans.
