Email Submissions Samples And Guidelines

For the pictures, the directions are the same.  Clearly write the submission title, the submission category, and the submission number.  Do not write your name on the submission page(the picture).

Your pictures, or graphics, are to be "attached" to the email file.  I prefer JPG's, PCX's over tiffs or GIFs.  Limit the amount of graphics to one floppy disk.  Not all your graphics may fit onto a single floppy disk, but you can send more than one disk, but only one at a time.  Wait three days, and send the next batch.  I don't want to crash my server.  Each time I receive something from you, you should receive a short message stating what I received.  If I don't write you, then it didn't arrive.

The format for the back of the page(your drawing) is the same as the mail in format.  The only difference is that you must clearly mark your name, your address(snail mail) the title of your submission, your submission number, and description, on the left hand side.

Each new page is recognized by a series of periods going across the page.  Each page must have all the same information at the top of each page.

The following are examples of full costume designs, and accessory designs.  They both are samples of multiple page submissions.

Victorian Vampire Cocktail Hat.  Category: accessory hat.  Submission 1 a.

The cocktail hat base is black.  The coiled rose brambles cut in the early fall from the outer walls of sleeping beauty's Castle.  The canes are a rust red color with brilliant red and gold leaves dotted by large rose hips.  A dead bird is caught in the bramble coils.  Shiny black feathers glow blue in the sunlight.  Detached feathers are artistically tucked into the bramble coils.  Netting is caught on the brambles and falls down the back of the head onto the shoulders.  The net is trimmed in bright red beads which resemble fresh blood drops.  The Cascade of beads down the side of the hat in various shades of red, complete the look.

Ashfalta, Goddess of parking.  Category: full costume and accessories.  2 a.

Ashfalta wears a leather and fur vest.  Slung on her belt, is the red pouch filled with coins and tokens to feed the meters.  On her back she has a power pack with jumpers to start the cars of the faithful.  She also carries a shovel to help dig out stuck cars and ward off meter readers.  Her breasts are augmented by two large high beams to show the faithful the way.  Her boots are trimmed with reflective tape.

The bright red of her pouch combines harmoniously with her bright rust colored leather top and the white fur trimming.  Her accessories are designed to co-ordinate with her red pouch.  The matching red handle of the shovel, and the red jumper cables combine harmoniously with her ensemble.  Her head dress with its distinctive P. on the fore head combines ultra-leather and fake fur, because she is politically correct in her selection of appropriate clothing, environmental issues, and friends with furry things.  Her vest is made of ultra-swayed trimmed with fake fur.  Her boots are ultra-leather, trimmed with cloth reflecting tape.
