Turtles
Turtles are basically just two handed handglides...first learn how to do handglides...cause a turtle is just another variation of it
just that when doin turtles both hands are placed under your body with both elbows tucked into your stomach..and also this move
is known as a float unlike a handglide in which u spin on your hand in this move u don't spin u just rotate pickin up your hands as
u go so u can keep turning....first what u want to do is..learn and practuice the position of a turtle over and over until u can pop into
it and stay there with ease...well first read my handglide section so u know the position because it is almost the same thing..the only
diffrence is that now both of your hands are tucked under your body to hold u up...unlike a handglide where only one hand is placed
under your body and the other out to push off with....so u should have both elbows tucked in your stomach and your etire body off the floor
so the only thing touchin the floor is your hands...now if u are in the right position try to practice this alot..so u can stay up for a along time...
now once u got that down..the next step is shifting your weight..this is a very important part of this move..cause this is how u will
be able to move around in circles....by shifting your weight from one hand to the other..to practice this what u do is get in the turtle position..
and now shift your body over to the right side so that all of your weight is balancing on your right hand and your left hand will come off of the
floor alittle bit..but don't go to mucht o the right that u fall over...now shift your weight over to your left side placing all of your body weight on your left hand...
and your right hand will come of the floor alittle...now just keep practicing that left anf right till u can just wobable from left to right constantly with no problems...
now this is where the movin part comes in...after u have mastered shifting your weight..moving in a cirle should be very easy...aight this si what u do..first get into
a turtle position and then shift your weight to your left side so that your right hand comes off the floor..now that your right hand is off the floor try to turn your body
alittle bit towrads your left so now u are not facing the same place u started out and then place your right hand back on the floor and shift your weight to your right side..
bringin your left ahnd off of the ground..now once your left hand is off the ground try to turn your body to the left again so it is facing a diffrent direction and place your left
hand back on the floor and shift your weight back over to your left side and turn your body alittle to your left again...and just keep repeatin the steps and turning to the left
and u will be back where u started....so u will complete a circle..and just keep reapeating over and over...until u have mastered this move..and just try to go faster and faster
each time because it looks alot betta if u can bust this out with mad speed...
