Be a Hunting Host!

Hunting Hosts coordinate and run Official Clan Hunts. After the hunt, the host calculates the points allocated to each participant, and deposits the loot. All hosts receive 100 Duty points per hunt (1 hour). There are a few requirements for being a Hunting Host.

• All new hosts must take the Hunt Training class and pass it.
• You must be at least a rank of Walker in the clan. This shows that you have been in the clan for some time and know the rules we stand by.
• You must send the Hunt Master a letter telling him why you want to be a host.
• Please indicate which times you will be available to host (PST or EST time).
• You must commit to hosting 2 hunts per week and must be consistent in your attendance.

Be a Sponsor for New Members

Sponsors act as a screening process as well as teachers and guides for new members. Theys teach the ways and rules of Dharma clan. This way the new member is prepared for a small test that they will be given prior to their official acceptance. The tests will vary but will include questions and information from the web site as well as posts on the board.

All potential new members are required to have an official Dharma member sponsor. It is up to the new member to find a sponsor. Sponsors can also recruit new members. Any Dharma member in good standing who is past the level of Initiate and not on meditation or probation status, can be a Sponsor. A maximum of 3 new members may be sponsored at one time.

• Send a letter to Admissions officer in which the new member requests an audience with an Admissions officer.
• The new member should have his/her Quest items and story ready and to present before the test.
• If a new member fails more than two answers, they will be asked to return to their sponsor for further training. They will have to present Quest items again for the second test.
• When a new member passes the test, they will be admitted into Dharma clan as an Initiate and given a title and a Welcome letter.

It is very rewarding to bring in a new family member into our great clan. Sponsors will receive 300 Dharmic Duty points when the new member is admitted. Any member who sponsors 25 new kindred into the clan will receive a special commendation from the Primogen.

Dharma members in good standing who desire to add another of their characters into the clan, will not require a sponsor. However, they will still responsible for Story and Initiate Quest items. Each character is considered individually and accumulates points separately.
