Background: Max was born on Mars and grew up there as well, that is the reason why he knows the streets of the local cities. He was once marry, but got divorced because of his job. He also thinks that he is an expect on them as well, but that was prove wrong when a small time thief took his wallet from him while he was walking the streets just minding his own business. He got his wallet back from Dureen.
He got on the job on the Excalibur when he was busy on a dig, unknown to him there was a space battle that was between an Earth Alliance Destroyer and the Drakh Cruiser as well on Centi 4. The battle resulted in the destruction of the Earth Alliance Destroyer and the crash landing of the Drakh Cruiser as well. The Drakh crew that was on the ship came out and started shooting at one of Eilerson's shuttles, causing it to be destroyed. Thus forcing Trace Miller to take up the reminding shuttle, that made him discovery the distress beacon that was launched by the doom Earth Alliance Destroyer.
It should be noted that he is the one that will go done to the cities that the Excalibur and he is the one that will tell the crew of the Excalibur what was written on it. He was the one that had cearly stated the mission of the Excalibur is to "put the needs of Earth first".
Disposition: Smart, but this hides the fact that is only helping the crew because he wants the money behind the discoveries that he might make.
