Background: Captain Elizabeth Lochley had a little bit of a checker background. She was the offspring of a father that was career Earth Force that would rather paint and because of that cause great pain for him. He didn't go into it because his father was career Earth Force as well and her father was expected to do the same, even if he didn't want to. That in turn causes him to drink. While this was happening to him Liz was destroying herself as well. She ran away from home shooting herself up with any type of drug that she could fine and in this lead to death of a very close friend called Zoe that force her to see what she was doing to herself.
Captain Elizabeth Lochley was Sheridan's first wives this marriage happen when Sheridan and Lochley grautued out of Earth Force Academy. This marriage didn't last because both of them are control freaks and since marriage is a agreement to share power, this marriage between the two of them didn't last that long. After that the two of them went their different ways each to have a different career in Earth Force.
When Sheridan resign and Commander Invonva was promoted to the rank of Captain, it left a void in the command structure of Babylon 5 that needed to be full. She was hand picked by Sheridan because of her many different qualities, each one of them were essential for a person that would command this place.
Her first problem to the station was the deal with telepaths that wanted to have a safe place on Babylon 5. She refuse it, but Sheridan override it despite her warring that this was going to be more trouble than good. In the long run it was and in the end it lend up the death to most of the telepaths that live at that station. After that she dealt with Gariabaldi and his drinking problem telling her of her past and that she went through the same thing that he was going through. She was the one that signal handily sober Gariabaldi and kept him like that. Then Sheridan and Gariabaldi left the station and she was happy that happen. This was because she saw that these two drew trouble like a lighten rod.
Then Gariabaldi came back to the station to meet a person that was in his new job. Unknown to anybody that this guy stole an object from the Soul Hunters and the Soul Hunters wanted it back at any costs. During that period of time, she was the one that found out the race that Soul Hunters kept, wasn't dying, but reaching a new level of awareness and that it was them that stole that right away from them.
In 2267, after the attack on Earth by the Drakh that led the Earth to be postion by a Plague. She meat up with Captain Gideon on Mars and found out that the two of them were the same. She has also made Babylon 5 a place where the crew of the Excalibur could come when they needed a place to go that was safe.
Disposition: She is a strong woman with a career mind set. Yet another control freak in the Babylon 5 universe and if she dose not get this, bad things will happen to her or the person that is trying to disrupted this. If you push her to the limit she will push you back and a good example of that is when she punched Gariabaldi in the face after she told him to leave her office. To her being a solider means that one should break the chain of command just because it against what you believe in, you should follow our orders. That it not the military to make policy. She tries and not to judge people on what they do, she gets to know people before she judges them.
Toughness: One scale one to five, one being a weakly and five nail hard. I give Captain Lochley a 4.5. Saying that she is a fighter and somebody that you should respect. If you don't she will make you.
