MAIDEN, MOTHER, MAGICIAN

Amarantha Françoise Dyuaaxchs

The witch's goddess lowers the night.
Hecate looks up to beckon Nox down.
Selene strikes her silver chariot, full or slight,
And Artemis' arrow soars beyond the hound.

The trio of goddesses observe the youth,
The orb on ebon velvet, and magical spells.
The Huntress is vicious, vengeful, uncouth.
Compare gentle Selene and Hecate, wiser by ells.

The crone, swathed in black, terrifies men.
The woman, floating high, tantalizes them.
By trickery and fleetness of foot escapes the maiden.
All-powerful triad, shroud, shed light, and life end.
