Captain,
The USS CURIE is ordered to investigate a series of anomalies, two sectors away from Amgine. The anomalies seem to indicate some sort of spacial rift, however a more detailed analysis is required.
The USS CURIE is to proceed to the anomalies to gather and analyse data. As I say, the nature of the anomalies is unknown, you and your crew must keep on guard for the unexpected.

The anomolies turned out to be time distortions, with overlapping events for the Curie. The anomolies were created by Temperal Investigators from the future, hoping to retrieve Galia Bitzalel and her friends under the assumption that they were out of time since they came from the future. Upon investigation they learned that Galia and her friends were intended to be in this time and it was in fact vital that they remained there. The anomolies disappeared at the end of the mission, leaving an unexplored Armstrong Sector.
During the mission, Kelen, denied permission to go to Comdr Yanten's funeral, managed to murder many scientists on deck 8 when he opened it to space, including Cmdr Bitzalel. He and Kalayah took a shuttle and went to the funeral on DS 101. Kalayah did so because it was Kelen's plan to return in another of the time areas, thus making it for the rest of the crew as if it never happened. This would undo the witnessing of Kalayah's communication with the Tal Shiar. During the funeral, Kelen obtained the essence of Yanten, fulfilling a promise to the sentiant robot from another dimension.
Returning the shuttle to a CURIE who was prior in time, and murdering their duplicate selves on board without detection, and then sealing the anomoly caused the alternate time line to be the time line. Galia and the scientist never knew that they had been dead in the original time line.
