Episode Update

#501 "Night"

Voyager encounters a large "void" of space where they will be forced to travel without contact with other worlds or beings. The result leaves the entire crew in a state of cabin fever - and Captain Janeway doubting her decision to lead the U.S.S. Starship Voyager on its original mission. The science fiction holo program "Captain Proton" debuts in this episode. While paris plays the hero, Captain Proton, Seven of Nine will be his secretary Constance Trueheart and Harry appears as his side-kick. Dr. Chaotica is played by a guest actor. The aliens encountered in this episode turn out to not be initially what we think they are. By the end, the truth about the nature of these aliens will not be what we expect. The Doctor have a funny moment in the opening scene of the season, set on the holodeck in a 1930's-style black and white sci-fi movie serial. "Talk about Buck Rogers! It turns out to be a holodeck program that Tom Paris, who's always been kind of a 20th century hobbyist, is fooling around with - visions of what the future would be - so he's cast himself in this romantic retro program as Captain Proton. It's all in black and white until the doctor enters in full color, complaining that Tom is now three minutes into his scheduled time to practice a duet from Don Carlo!" The Night Aliens have reflective silver eyes and are invisible unless you shine light on them. "We're trying to push the envelope," Braga says. "We're tired of seeing aliens with funny foreheads."

#502 "Drone"

Seven's Borg nano-probes and the Doctor's holo-emmitter give rise to a new form of a futuristic (29th century) drone.

A Seven of Nine show. Will show a new twist on the Borg. The producers have asked Robert Picardo (Doc) whether he wanted to be turned into a Borg during an episode where a transporter malfunction causes Seven of Nine's Borg implants to interface with the Doctor's holographic emitter. It's unknown if this episode ever got made, but if it did, there's a good chance that this is it.

#503 "Extreme Risk"

Showing up this season are the Malon, intergalactic toxic waste dumpers who will wear hot suits and be covered with slime and boils. It could be this episode they show up, but its just a guess. Its the only epsidoe they can showup in before episode 7. After losing her Maquis friends (in "Hunters"), B'Elanna finds that she cannot properly mourn their loss--and is afraid to try. To numb the pain of her loss, she begins taking more and more risks with her life as an outlet--she becomes addicted to the pain she experiences from her risks to cover the emotional pain she feels but cannot deal with. She'll constantly be covering for herself and these risks--often repairing the broken bones herself that she gets from safeties-off holoprograms she uses. It is B'Elanna that will be taking a sonic shower. "It's real loud," Ex. Prod. Braga says. "A bath in sound waves."

#504 "Once Upon A Time"

When Voyager's new advanced shuttle, carrying Samantha Wildman, disappears, little Naomi Wildman is left in the care of Neelix. To help her get through this traumatic time, Neelix conjures up a holodeck program based on Talaxian fairy tales and the enchanted forest stuff we saw in "Mortal Coil." Eventually, the crew finds the crashlanded shuttle, rescues Samantha and they all live happily ever after (well, at least until the next episode). Neelix starts training with Tuvok in tactical duties

#505 "In The Flesh"

Seven will get a new suit. Jeri Ryan: "It's the same basic idea, just a new color (blue with gray sleeves)." (Could also be in "Once Upon A Time") Species 8472 studies Earth, and make holo-models (in the DQ) of San Francisco (Starfleet Headquarters). Back in the Delta Quadrant, Species 8472 returns here to study the holorecordings of Starfleet Command, because they are going to sneak attack. Voyager finds out, and investigates. This episode is maybe a 2 parter, were the end will be in Voyagers 100th episode.

#506 ~The 100th Episode

The away team(s) find the holorecorded San Francisco BUT, while investigating... Chakotay falls in love. (ewwww with one of those 8472 folk??? What is he? Some sort of sicko???? YYYYESSS HE IS :-))) Actually it's a holo recording version (which sorta makes it better) of someone played by Kate Vernon.

News on first 3 episodes

#501 "Night"

The Voyager crew is traveling through a region of space with NO stars and NO planets. It has the crew becoming rather BORED. And that the show features a new race of aliens whom we haven't met yet, and Janeway's captaincy is threatened.(sounds like a weird episode. But time and time again the writers have come up with a good story with something that with anyone else would be a bomb)

#502 -No name as of yet

Seven of Nine episode- All we know now

#503 -No name as of yet

A non-romantic Torres episode. A dark episode in which B'Elanna will come to turn with her Klingon heritage, and that she also does some "self-destructive things"

Species 8472, and the Borg

Brannon Braga told in his online chat at the continum, that we will see the return of the Borg and Species 8472 this season.

Braga Chat

When asked about the continuing question that racks all of our minds. "Will Voyager Ever get home?" Braga says-

" A question we ask ourselves every day. It could happen at any moment, but we don't want to take the ship home arbitrarily. We've got to find the right storyline to do it in. "

"Will Q Return?"

Again, if the right story comes along, definitely, but there are no plans right now. I should also say that we feel very strongly that Voyager has finally found its own identity, and we're hesitant to bring in elements from the past. We want to keep moving forward, explore Voyager's own potential.

That's all for today. I'm going to go to Quebec for the weekend to see YES. I will return on monday for an update though. If anyone has anything u can e-mail me at dupui74656@aol.com

Star Trek 9 info

I know that this isn't Voyager news, but I thought it was cool. The Official name for Star Trek IX is "Star Trek: Insurrection" And the preview will apparently be on the X-files movie. (It was supposed to be on the Godzilla trailers, but Frakes thought that they needed more shots.

Updated Rumors For Season 5

So far there are only faint rumors comming from the set. Jeri Taylor is gone. There is a rumor that the first three episodes will be a tie-in, and voyager will either see earth in some way, or go home for good. I personally think it is wishfull thinking. That's all for now, I will get more up to date rumors when they come in!
