My Current Projects

Dragon Mountain: A PnP conversion of a Boxed Set module by the same name, published by TSR in 1993 and written by Paul Arden Lidberg for 2nd Edition AD&D.

Dragon Mountain is probebly one of the largest, and MOST difficult PnP 'dungeon hack' modules ever put to print by TSR, not to mention my favorite. The conversion will be intended for a party 6 to 8 players from 10th to 15th level. I don't know yet if I'll be adapting it for a single player, that will have to depend on the demand of the module and the number of requests, though as it stands now I will NOT be doing so. DMs intervention is not going to be needed; However, the addition of a DM would enhance overall gameplay, so I am including a DM 'cheat sheet' in the file on publication.

The Story Behind Dragon Mountain :
Before the beginning of history, a tale older than time itself, in a place far from here. A place, part-myth, part-imagination, part-truth, a place of mystery, enchantment, and danger. This place could be the height of any adventurer's career, or the end of it.
Once, a mighty dragon, his name so powerful it cannot be spoken aloud, had a lair on the top of a mountain. This lair, some say, overflows with riches of jewels, gold and magical items beyond imagination. The dragon kept this lair for many an age, untouched and unmolested by any mere mortal.
Until, a powerful Lich Lord came to the mountain and challenged its keeper. On its peak the battle was laid, day after day, blow after blow. It is said they fought for months, spell upon bone and scale, the Lich Lord and the mighty dragon had torn each other apart. In the end, both lay dead. And the treasure unclaimed.
Some say it isn't guarded, but still others warn against the incredibly powerful forces that guard the entrance; However, finding the mountain is nigh unto impossible, as it moves in and out of our plane, located at the edge of all that is known, only to appear in a different place each time, and sometimes not be there at all.
This cycle is repeated every twenty years, no one is certain where it will appear, but they know they want to be there when it does. The location of the mountain could be discerned from certain artifacts, but the whereabouts and identity of these items is lost to the ages.
All anyone knows for sure, is that they want what it can bring them, regardless of the danger.

They want…
DRAGON MOUNTAIN.
