Grandpaps Sicilian Meatballs

1 1/2 lbs  ground sirloin
1/2 lb  mild italian sausage
1/2 lb  ground veal
1 loaf  italian bread torn into small peices
1 large  egg
1 tbs  milk
1 tbs  olive oil
1 tsp  italian seasoning
1 small  finely chopped onion
2 cloves  finely minced garlic
1/4 cup  grated parmesan and romano

What I do is spread the meat evenly in large bowl andcover the top with a layer of grated cheese and follow with the seasonings.
Then add torn Italian bread( use crust too) enough that it is thru the whole mixture then the egg and milk mix roll and pat into flat meat ball.
Grease skillet lightly with olive oil and fry over medium flame until they are brown.
