1 lb HOT pork sausage
Then Brown sausage well
(crumbled) in a skillet and pour off the grease
1 lb regular pork sausage
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can chunk pineapple
1 lg can or bag of sauerkraut
1/2- 3/4 cup brown sugar
Add crushed pineapple with the juice and the
sauerkraut with the juice (if any)
Add brown
sugar,stir well,drain the juice from the pineapple
chunks and add the chunks to the skillet.(save the
juice in case you want more liquid later)
Simmer
for 20-30 min in uncovered pan, stirring
occasionally.
You will know when it's done! Keys
are: brown the sausage real good! (go easy on the
brown sugar till you decide how you like it) and I
like it simmered a LONG time so the flavors mix well
(can always keep adding pineapple juice)
