Vegere Book appearances Rogue Planet Greg Bear Affliations Jedi Council Special Distinctions Vegere is the Jedi who traveled to Zonama Sekot to investigate the production of living ships. When Vegere had not been heard from in a year, her master, Thracia Cho Leem, asked the Council to investigate. This task was assigned to Obi-Wan Kenobi and his padawan, Anakin Skywalker. Once on Sekot, Kenobi and Skywalker discovered that Vegere had been there, but had left with the "Far Outsiders" to avoid a large scale war befalling the inhabitants of Sekot. It is thought that the "Far Outsiders" are the Yuuzhan Vong who later plague the Republic (The New Jedi Order), and Vegere has not been heard from since her departure.
