Hexagonal Juggling Cube
To make a 6-in-1 Japanese style juggling cube, you will have to decide on the dimensions. Because of the
6-in-1 link, the shape you will be making will tend to be a hexagon, but I think that that looks better than
a cube anyway. I made a regular 6-in-1 "chain", that is just expanding it as shown on the how to page. I
have it 6 main links long, that is, the link with 6 other links through it. After that, start expanding it up
and down, continuing with the diagonal that the first link created. to expand it, simply continue making
the triangles that result from connecting the 6-in-1 links to the 6-in-1 link above it. continue doing this
until you have 3 6-in-1 circles(of course they won't have 6 links in them because of the pattern) then do
this for the other side so that you have a hexagon. looking at the middle, it has 6 circles. the next row 5,
then 4 then lastly 3. Now you will need two of these hexagon sheets. Once you have those, you need to
connect them together(here comes the fun part). If you're still using channel-lock pliers, you'll need two
needle nose. Anyway, on the top row, there are three links, connected by two. Put connecting links
through these to connect that row to the next. You should have two links connected by one, the connecting
link running vertical. Now to connect the next row, put a connecting ring horizontal through the two ring
that are sort of diagonal. Once you have it through the two, connect it to the two on the other side so that
you have 4 "diagonal" rings connected with one horizontal ring.
I'm sure this is very confusing, as it difficult to explain. If you have experience with the four in one cube,
the appropriate links should be obvious. That's the best I can do to explain the construction, with trial
and error, (which is how I figured out how to make one)you should be able to make a juggling hexagon.
Good luck! If you have any questions or comments, E-mail me at Loligo6145@aol.com and I will be
more than happy to answer them.
