Straightening Links

Before each link can be incorporated into a piece of maille, it has to be straightened. To do this, simply pick up the link, and holding the needlenose pliers in one hand and the channel-locks in the other, bend the link straight. If you left sufficient space during the cutting process there should remain a 1/16" gap between the ends of the link.
