• Alia is the illegitimate daughter of Kethren Trynyty, a Sith Lord who had been raised and trained by Emperor Palpatine.
• Fearing repercussions from Kethren, her mother hid her in a tiny capsule somewhere in the remains of Alderaan, thinking she would perish when the shell's oxygen supply ran out.
• She was discovered by a smuggler who was stealing the memorial gifts left there in the asteroids created by the destruction of Alderaan. Alderaanian survivors often travel to the site of the planet to leave gifts in what is known as "the Graveyard." This startled smuggler found Alia and took her home with him.
• She lived with the smuggler and his wife on Corellia until the age of 7. Her adoptive parents had a deep hatred of all Force related beings so upon discovering her powers, Alia ran away and lived on the streets of Corellia for 2 years. Kethren discovered her and took her back with him to his base on the core world of Cewart. Alia revered her father and remained there until she was 14.
• Kethren Trynyty had been Emperor Palpatine's pride and joy for a while. Being quickly replaced by upstart Domino de Devastator, Kethren began to train Alia in earnest. Frightened by her new-found power, Alia escaped from Kethren on a trip to Courscant at age 14.
• She lived on the streets of Courscant for 2 more years before again being recaptured, this time by her brother, Evan. Now wise to the horror of her father's powers, Alia defied him in every way possible, making life more than a bit difficult for herself. After another year with Kethren, Alia managed to telepathically contact a Jedi with a passing Rebel fleet.
• That Jedi was killed in the Rebel attack on Kethren's base. Her father and brother escaped with most of Kethren's high-ranking officers. The officer in charge of the mission decided that Alia was best suited to the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4 and that's where she ended up.
• Shortly after she was shipped to Yavin 4, Imperial Forces led by Domino de Devastator attacked the Jedi Academy. She was separated from the rest of the students, but happened to run into a Jedi starfighter pilot (Neb Calluna) and rescued him from de Devastator's top assassin, Rayla van Danté.
• On Dantooine, Alia was paired to work with Tynidian Chartise, wealthy playboy of the White Nova Shipping line. Sent to the battle of Fury but Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, she also met up with Ibran Crissean. Ibran, Neb, and Tyne all helped Alia put her life into perspective. Until, of course, she was taken to her father's mortal enemy, Domino de Devastator.
• She and Ibran were trapped together aboard Domino's flagship during the Battle of Ord Farlenx. When Ibran experienced someone else's death psychically, Alia was forced to fight her way through Rayla, Kyra, and Sereethyn to find him. She touched the Dark Side many times and spent long hours shut away meditating until she could forgive herself.
