Grandmaster Bill Addams

• Bill Addams is the highest ranked practitioner and head of the Way of I-Shin martial art.  His martial arts knowledge and abilities are considered nonpareil throughout the galaxy, and he has uncanny unconventional intelligence resources in the form of his students and disciples spread throughout the Galaxy; Imperial, Rebel, neutral and other.  Many are in law enforcement. 
• Those disciples who achieve high enough rank are initiated into the "Army" and will help each other when in need. He teaches at his galactic headquarters currently located on the well-traveled neutral planet of Southmarch.
• Imperial and Rebel alike receive instruction – if they have the tuition which is comparable to that of a top-notch health club – but not individuals who are likely to employ the art inappropriately (i.e., unnecessary violence that promotes chaos rather than order).  The Empire currently has a group-rate with him for training certain military personnel.
• All I-Shin high-rank promotions are conducted by him at his headquarters, though there are numerous branch Dojos throughout the Galaxy.  Anyone entering a Dojo must take off their shoes.
• His chief disciples are Master Forest (who teaches at the main Dojo), Master Santorini (on "sabbatical avoiding the gendarmes of Jukka IV) and Master Lahti (who is frequently found in the seedier bars of other planets and has a highly-developed sense of humor and unlimited capacity to consume bar-type beverages without getting drunk). These particular individuals are humans, but alien species are also taught I-Shin without discrimination.
• Grandmaster Bill Addam’s pride and joy is his vintage skimmer, which is parked in front of his headquarters on the street.  Bad things happen to people who think about stealing it.  
• Jedi Masters have been known to send cocky students to Bill Addam’s dojo for a free final test.  Humility.  The Grandmaster keeps the cloak of every Jedi who mistakenly thought their training in the Force would enable them to best him.  He has never been known to lose.
• The reputation of Grandmaster Bill Addams and the Way of I-Shin is such that beings cognizant of the martial arts are exceedingly respectful towards students of the Way of I-Shin.
