Garm Bel Iblis

Garm Bel Iblis was one of the founding members of the Rebel Alliance. Once a senator from Corellia, he watched Senator Palpatine rise in power to become the Emperor with consternation. After Palpatine declared himself Emperor, Garm and his family were arrested for treason and he watched Imperials kill his loved ones. After escaping his captors, he contacted Senators Bail Organa of Alderaan and Mon Mothma of Chandrila. The resulting meeting from that contact was the signing of the Corellian Treaty and the basis for the Alliance.

After the destruction of Alderaan, continuing disagreements between Bel Iblis and Mothma led the Corellian to leave the Rebel Alliance. Many men and women left with him to form a guerilla force which harried Imperial forces. They set up a mobile base known as Peregrine's Nest from which they enjoyed many small victories against the Empire.

During the crisis caused by Grand Admiral Thrawn's campaign to resurrect the Empire, Han Solo contacted Bel Iblis and asked for his help. Garm decided to help the rebel forces (known as the New Republic for that short period of time) as they fought against the tactical wizardry of the Chiss Grand Admiral.

Throughout the time spanning from the Thrawn campaign to present, Garm Bel Iblis has been looked to as a steadfast leader and an example in the fight against tyranny.

Garm Bel Iblis is currently the General of a task force (known as Peregrine's Nest even after all this time) in the Rebel Alliance military.

Corellian Twilight and Stardust - 2 Endurance-class Fleet Carriers with full compliment of 2 fighter wings

Med-1 - a Nebulon-B Frigate utilized in a medical function (no fighters are stationed on this ship - it's a medical frigate)

Republic Dawn, Republic Dream, Republic Fire, Republic Glory, Republic Hope, and Republic Pride - 6 Sacheen-class Light Escort Cruisers with a squadron of X-Wings stationed on-board each one except for Republic Pride, which carries a squadron of B-Wings.
