Fantasia
Disney used some of its greatest animators to add pictures to some of the greatest classical symphonies in the world. Two of the movements included are Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker and Beethoven's Pastoral Melody. They also happen to be my favorite of scenes portrayed. The Nutcracker becomes a celebration of nature. Each movement shows different seasons and the flowers, and animals as they dance to the music. The Pastoral Melody was supposed to tell of a ride in the country. The animators took this original idea and expanded it with mythical creatures. Centaurs, pegasus, satyrs and gods abound in this created countryside. The entire video is definately worth seeing, especially if you like classical music.
