I find that I hardly ever appreciate any classical music on a first listen (although in many cases I can tell that I probably will get to like the piece after a few more listens). As a result, I generally listen to each piece of music once a day for about a week before deciding on whether I like it. I also only listen to half a CD of unfamiliar music each week. Here is what I'm listening to at the moment.
Last Recording: Bartok: 44 duos, Shostakovich: Three Violin Duets, Prokofiev: Sonata for wo Viloins (EMI).
Current Recording: Beethoven: Piano Concertos 1-3 and Piano Sonatas (1,2,4) (Concerto Royale).
