Geography

The Principality is bounded on the south by the Black Gulf, on the west by the Apuccini Mountains, to the north by the Vaults and the Black Mountains, and to the east by the River Noir.

There are large areas of open pasture and farmland that is well watered by the many lesser rivers and streams that flow from the mountains and by a good average rain fall.  The weather is mild for most of the year, but there are often violent late summer storms.

There are large herds of horses and cattle raised on the plains, and large herds of swine raised in the forested areas.  Farmers raise abundant crops of wheat, vegetables, and grapes for the making of wine.

The large forested areas supply abundant timber for building the ships used for trades and in the Principality Navy.  There are quarries supplying granite, and fine marble for building and export to other Nations.
