The Knife of Khaine - 45 points - Magic Weapon

This is the sacrificial knife of Khaine used by the Shadow Elf priests. It has been enchanted by Lithar, the High Priestess, blessed by the Lord of Murder, and consecrated in the blood of thousands of innocent lives. The Knife hungers for life and sucks the lifeblood of any wounded by it.

For every wound caused by the knife roll a D6, on a 4+ an extra wound is caused. Keep rolling until they either die, or you fail to roll a 4+. This has no effect on Dæmons or Undead or anyone else who doesn't have any blood. The bearer also gains +1 Strength.

The Blood of Kry'el. - 35 points - Enchanted Item

This potion was concocted by Lithar to aid the Arhainii warriors in battle. It requires a drop of blood from the Lord of the Arhainii as well as many other potent magical ingredients. It is very potent but unstable and the effect it produces is unpredictable. It is also quite difficult to make so only a little can be produced at a time. Any warrior who drinks from this potion is imbued with some of Kry'el's power.

Before the battle, a character with this item may give it to the unit they are accompanying. This is done after deployment but before the first turn. The potion will effect the entire unit including a champion if it has one but no other characters.

At the start of every hand-to-hand combat phase in which the drinkers are engaged in combat roll a D6. Due to the instability of the potion it only takes effect on a roll of 3+. If the potion takes effect roll a further D6. This indicates the effect the potion has in that phase:

1-2: The Skill of Kry'el
They now use their weapons with such precision that all saves vs their attacks have a -1 penalty.

3-4: The Resilience of Kry'el
Weapons no longer seem to hurt them and they shrug off blows that would otherwise kill them. Ignore the first unsaved wound on the unit in the current phase.

5-6: The Rage of Kry'el
The unit is so crazed with fury that all ranks press forward to attack. An extra rank may attack.

Arhainii Only

 

The Talisman of Blood - 20 points - Enchanted Item

This talisman smells constantly of blood. It is warm to the touch and feels like it is throbbing with power.

A character wearing this talisman will never lose attacks due to frenzy.

Blood Warrior Heroes only

 

The Banner of Bloodlust - 40 points - Magic Standard

The unit carrying this banner is enthused with longing for combat. When they charge into their enemies they are driven to exert themselves even more.

The unit carrying this standard may add D6" to all charge and pursuit moves.

Arhainii Only

 

Claws - 20 points - Magic Weapon

These Claws are engraved with runes to make them tough and strong. Worn on each hand they enable the wearer to fight attack in the manner of a wild beast.

There are two claws so they count as an extra hand weapon giving +1A. They can be used to punch straight through armour so give an extra -2 save modifier to their victims.
