Dragon's Eye....................15 points The Dragon's eye is a ring which grants the power of dragon speech to its wearer. It is said that the great Caledor Dragontamer once wore it when he first bound the dragons to his will, but no one knows for sure. Apart from giving the user access to dragon magic, it also enables him to communicate more easily with dragons. Thus the Dragonmaster rule applies even if he is not mounted on a dragon. In addition, if the enemy makes a successful Ld test for keeping control of his dragon he must reroll it. Such is the power of the Dragon's Eye. Should the Dragon's Eye in any way be negated or destroyed the wearer immediately loses all Draconic spells. Cerandal only |
Runesword of Vaul..................25 points One of the ancient weapons forged in Vaul's Anvil at the dawn of time, this weapon extrudes potent heat. Anyone the sword accepts as it's user is shielded from any lesser fire. And so the wearer is immune to any fire-based attacks. The Runesword of Vaul also grants +1S to the wearer, it's mighty runes of fire ripping through flesh and steel alike. Cerandal only |
Staff of Chyron.................40 points The essence of the wise dragon Chyron is bound to the staff of Chyron. Having been mortally wounded by a rival it is said that Chyron asked a Dragon Mage to be imprisoned in the staff, rather suffering an eternity of captivity than dying, in which case all his knowledge would be lost. The cunning of Chyron persists to this day, lending his wisdom to his younger brethren. If the wearer of the staff of Chyron rides a dragon of any kind then it's breath weapon is increased by one level (ie a Young Dragon becomes a Dragon, a Dragon a Great Dragon, etc - in the case of an Emperor Dragon, follow the usual "formula" for the breath weapon and increase by one level). In addition, the dragon may reroll any failed saving throw. Cerandal only |
