The Pearl Dragons made their first appearance in eastern Kislev. At the time, the Ice Queen was sorely pressed by the Chaos Dwarves who were raiding the eastern frontier of her nation. When the Pearl Dragons appeared bearing tales of their journey across the steppes and the hatred they had gained for the Hobgoblins who lived their, the Ice Queen hired them on the spot. They fit in perfectly with her army, able to support both her Winged Lancers and Horse Archers depending on the situation. In their first battle, they managed to rout a unit of Bull Centaurs and then completely destroyed a group of Sneaky Gits, freeing a minor noble in the process. Since then they have found employment throughout the Empire and the Border Princes. They wander now on a quest known only to them, finding employment with whoever offers money or the chance to slay the green skinned ones.

Special Rules:
Expert Riders
In their own country the Pearl Dragons were part of the warrior elite and had
trained for mounted combat from the time they had been able to walk. They can therefore
fire their bows regardless of how far they moved in the movement phase.
Loose Formation
Each individual Dragon is a member of a haughty warrior aristocracy and believes
himself to be a superior warrior. They therefore fight as individuals each being placed
with 1 of each other. This formation is not a skirmish formation. Instead, the
warriors can use Sun Ces leadership, are able to march move if the enemy is within
8, and can count a rank bonus of +1 (If there are 10 or more Dragons, they count as
having +1CR, if there are less, this bonus is lost). However, they do not gain the
skirmishers bonus for moving through terrain and being shot at.
Hate Greenskins
All the Dragons hate Greenskins (Orcs- including Black and Savage Orcs,
Goblins- including Night and Forest goblins, and Hobgoblins). These creatures prey on the
Dragons native land and by some accounts were even responsible for the Dragons being
driven into exile.
Warriors Honor
Sun Ce is expected to uphold the honor of the unit and therefore may not decline
a challenge and must always issue a challenge.
If no one excepts his challenge, Sun will not attack considering it beneath him to fight
rank and file. If there are unengaged Dragon models, one will take Suns place in
combat and fight normally. If there are no unengaged Dragons, Sun remains in place and can
be attacked, but will not fight himself.
Frozen Glory
Sun Ce bears a family heirloom naginata called Frozen Glory. Besides functioning
as a normal naginata (halberd), the blade of Frozen Glory traps and amplifies any
available light, blinding its foes with the glory of its wielder. Any opponent attacking
Sun will lose 1d3 attacks.
