Cao Cao.....................................155 points + 75 points Sword of Dancing Bronze

Cao Cao is the most famous hero of the Han Empire. He is the viceroy for the young Emperor. It is said that he would be "a wise ruler to govern the land, a great villain to ruin the land." Since the overthrow of Dong Zhuo, Cao Cao has protected the young Emperor Xian. Cao Cao has collected the greatest talent in the land around him and prides himself on enlisting former enemies to do the bidding of the Empire. After his defeat at the Red Wall by Liu Bei and Sun Qian, he totally reformed the military system and built a greater navy than the Empire had ever known before. After he had completed his reforms, he attacked the rebel Liu Bei and defeated him in battle and united all the lands of the Empire.

The Sword of Dancing Bronze

The Sword of Dancing Bronze appears as an antiquated bronze sword with a jade hilt and appears more ornamental than functional, but when wielded by a great hero, its true nature is seen. The sword glows with a golden light, and it strikes with the speed of lightning.

The bearer of the sword gains +3 Attacks.

Leaders of the Han Only

Cao Pi is a ruthless warrior and a learned man. He has ably assisted his father, Cao Cao, in the leading of the armies of the Han against the enemies of the Empire. He is known both for his fiery temper and for his cultured and learned demeanor.

The Jade Axe appears to have a head made of pure Jade, but it is harder and sharper than any steel bladed axe.

The bearer of the Jade Axe strikes with a strength bonus of +2.

Cao Pi Only

The Jade Armour.............25 points

The Jade Armour appears to be made of delicate scales of green Jade laced together with red cords on a red leather backing.

The Jade Armour includes a shield, and gives an armour save to the wearer of 2+.

Han Only

Sun Quan..........................................120 points + 50 points The Lacerating Sword

Sun Quan was the second son of Sun Jian. He became the ruler of Jiang Dong province at his dying brother Sun Ce's behest when he was a mere 19 years old. With a square jaw, large mouth, and blue eyes, many believe he has blood from beyond Cathay. He at first opposed Cao Cao as prime minister and defeated him at the Red Wall. Later, he accepted Cao Cao as prime minister, regient and viceroy for the Emperor.

The Lacerating Sword......50 points

The sword appears as a longsword with a wavy edged blade, and a heavy iron hilt.

The bearer is +1 to wound when striking with the sword, and obtains an extra -1 to the opponent's armour savings throw. Each wound inflicts not one, but 2 wounds.

Han Only

Chiang Liang..................................................290 points + 50 points The Tome of Oneness + 60 points The Jade Circlet

Chiang Liang is the most learned Wizard and Scholar of the Han Empire. He is the leader of the College of Wizards, and advisor to the Imperial Court. He has fought many battles against the enemies of the Empire, both natural and abnormal. He has fought enemy Wizards, foul shaman of the Beastmen, and Goblins. He has fought monsters and Daemons, and he has fought the foul rat-spawn from beneath the Earth. He has also spent his life in study of the Magical Arts and the cultural arts.

Magic: Chiang Liang is a Wizard with a magic level of four.

Equipment: Chiang Liang carries a sword, but he never wears any armour, as it would compromise his magic abilities. He may have other weapons and magic items, as detailed below.

May Ride: A Wizard may ride a warhorse (+3 points), a chariot, or a monster (see separate Monster List for points values).

Magic Items: Chiang Liang is entitled to up to four magic items chosen from the appropriate magic item cards in Warhammer Magic. Two of these must always be The Tome of Oneness and The Jade Circlet.

The Tome of Oneness......50 points

The Tome of Oneness brings a oneness with the Winds of Magic to any wizard who studies it and carries it with him.

The wizard may always draw one extra magic card when they are dealt each turn, and he will be dealt his spells at the beginning of the battle before any other Wizard.

Han Wizards Only

The Jade Circlet...............60 points

The Jade Circlet is a simple circlet of green jade.

The bearer gets a 4+ special save against all wounds suffered and a magic save of 5+ against all magic spells, effects, and abilities used against him. This is not a dispel, and others in the area will be affected normally.
