Core Units are the most
common warriors in the army. There is a minimum number of Core Units that must be
fielded, and this varies with the size of the army (see "Armies of Araby"). There
is no maximum limit on the number of Core Units that can be fielded.
On this page are listed the basic Warriors of the Araby warhost. The
Warriors of Araby train from childhood in the martial skills of sword, spear, and javelin. |

ride barded warhorses. They are armed with a sword and a lance.
Options:
- Upgrade one Al-halqa into a Musician for +6 pts.
- Upgrade one Al-halqa into a Standard Bearer for +12 pts.
- Promote one Al-halqa to a Champion for +10 pts.
- One unit that contains a Standard Bearer may carry a magic standard worth up to
50 pts.
