Lords (Jarls, Godi Lords,
Wizard Lords, Runecarver Lords, and Shamaness Lords) are the highest ranking and most
powerful characters in the Norscan list. Lords are severely limited in
number (see "Armies of Norsca") and are quite expensive, but make the best army
Generals.

they have training from a College of Magic, but mostly they are trained in their art by
the spirits of their ancestors. |

Magic: A Wizard Lord is a Level 3 Wizard. He may choose
one of the following Lores: Life; Beasts; Fire; Heavens.
Options:
- May be upgraded to a Level 4 Wizard for +35 pts.
- May ride either a warhorse (+15 pts), a Bear (+25 pts) or a Griffon (+200 pts).
- May choose magic items from the Common magic item list or the Norscan Runes list,
with a maximum total value of 100 pts.

GODI LORD |
Points/model: 160 |
The Godi are the only true Priests of the Norscans. They are fighter
priests and accompany the armies when they go to war. They invoke Odin's blessing
for the coming battle and they administer the warrior rights to the fallen so that they
will pass on to Valhalla. |

Special Rules:
Inspirational. Godi are inspirational characters, and they
inspire the troops to higher morale, so any unit that fails a Break test within 8" of
a Godi may immediately reroll that test one time for each occurrence.
Immune to Psychology. Godi are immune to psychology,
panic, and break tests. If they are ever required to take any Ld test, they will
pass it automatically, so no dice are rolled.

Runecarvers create magic runes for use by the heroes of Norsca. They also use
these runes to cast complex spells. |

runes to be able to cast spells.
Options:
- May be upgraded to a Level 4 Wizard for +20 pts.
- May ride either a warhorse (+15 pts), a Bear (+25 pts) or a Griffon (+200 pts).
- May choose magic items from the Common magic item list or the Norscan Runes list,
with a maximum total value of 100 pts.
Special Rules:
Runes. Runecarvers must purchase magic runes in order
to cast any magic. They may use Power dice just as any other magic user, and they
may use Power dice to reinforce the strength of their magic runes and/or to aid dispels.

SHAMANESS LORD |

Shamanesses weave the more primal Winds of Magic that flow through Norsca.
They are more in touch with the nature spirits than the Runecarvers or Wizards of Norsca. |
