100. The Ship

Summary

Sisko and crew are on a mining survey in the Gamma Quadrant when a Jem'Hadar ship crashes nearby. Investigating, they find the crew all dead, and decide to tow it back to the station for study by Starfleet. Then a Vorta, Kilana, and her Jem'Hadar arrive. First Kilana tries negotiation, then she tries force, in order to gain possession of the downed ship. Obviously there is something aboard that she wants very badly. As the siege goes on, Sisko and Dax finally see a Changeling revert to liquid inside the ship, then turn to ash, dying. Kilana was trying to rescue the Changeling without revealing its presence. She sadly takes a sample of the ash, and lets Sisko have the ship.
