Summary

Worf and Dax plan to go to Risa to hammer out their relationship; they are joined by Bashir and Leeta, and at the last minute, Quark. Worf is disturbed by the lifestyle of the resort planet, and attracted to the words of Pascal Fullerton, leader of the New Essentialists movement, which feels that Risa symbolizes the current weakness of the Federation in the face of the many threats to its safety. With Worf's aid, Fullerton disrupts Risa's weather grid, but Worf draws the line when Fullerton goes on to cause earthquakes. After he breaks away, he and Dax finally enjoy their vacation. Meanwhile, Bashir and Leeta enact the Bajoran Rite of Separation.
