121. Blaze of Glory

Summary

A. Despite the fact that the Maquis have been decimated by the Cardassian/Dominion alliance, a message to Eddington is intercepted, saying that cloaked missiles have been launched toward Cardassia. Hoping to prevent a retaliatory war, Sisko appeals to the imprisoned Eddington to help deactivate the missiles before they reach their target. Together they enter the Badlands and reach the planet from where the missiles were launched--but the Jem'Hadar have gotten there first. After they find a hidden group of surviving Maquis, Eddington reveals that the "missiles" were a ruse. He is killed covering the escape of Sisko and the Maquis refugees.

B. Nog learns how to gain the respect of Klingons.
