122. Empok Nor

Summary

O'Brien leads a salvage team to Empok Nor, an abandoned Cardassian space station in the Trivas system, to obtain needed spare parts for DS9. The team includes Nog as well as Garak, whose help is needed in disarming the booby traps the Cardassians left behind. It is learned that the Cardassians also left behind three soldiers, test subjects for an experimental drug to heighten their racial xenophobia; the two still alive come out of stasis and begin stalking the team, who are trapped on the station. The soldiers are killed by Garak--but Garak has been exposed to the drug, and takes Nog hostage, until O'Brien rigs a bomb with a phaser that disables the tailor.
