Summary

A. In the Gamma Quadrant, Bashir and O'Brien beam down to a planet and are captured by a group of Jem'Hadar. Their leader is Goran'Agar, who survived a crash on this planet once, and somehow managed to live after his supply of Ketracel-white (the enzyme the Jem'Hadar are addicted to) ran out. He has brought his men there in hopes that something about the planet will cure them too, but so far no luck. Bashir agrees to help find a cure, though O'Brien objects that without the control of their addiction the Jem'Hadar might become even worse. O'Brien destroys Bashir's work to force him to leave. Goran'Agar allows them to escape.

B. Worf, dissatisfied with Odo's handling of a smuggling case, investigates it himself, only to end up ruining Odo's planned sting.
