Summary

A. When Quark announces a pay cut due to the Bajoran Time of Cleansing reducing his revenues, it is the last straw for Rom and the other workers at the bar. They form a union, the Guild of Restaurant and Casino Employees, led by Rom, and go on strike. Rom will not be swayed either by Quark or by the threats of Liquidator Brunt, who has Quark beaten up. (Why Quark? Because Rom cares for him.) Recovering, Quark offers to secretly meet the union's demands in exchange for its dissolution, which Rom agrees to. Rom afterwards quits the bar and joins the station's engineering crew.

B. Worf is unable to get used to life on DS9, and moves his quarters to the Defiant.
