Summary

A. The Federation is sending twelve industrial replicators to Cardassia to help them rebuild after the Klingon invasion. As security arrangements are made, Odo and Eddington come to Sisko with their suspicions that Kasidy Yates may be smuggling for the Maquis. Eventually, these suspicions are confirmed when the Defiant follows her ship; but while they are gone, Eddington steals the replicators and leaves, revealing himself as a member of the Maquis. Kasidy turns herself in and is arrested.

B. Garak and Ziyal cautiously befriend each other.
