Welcome to the ST:CCG Unofficial
Homepage. Star Trek Card Game is a game in which opponents play different
affiliations and compete to solve crises and stop dilemmas. Similar to
Star Wars: CCG, Star Trek is made by Decipher.
Unlike Star Wars, battles are rare in Star
Trek (but more common after First Contact Rules came out). Many battle
varients have been proposed and I have included a few on this page. My
deck and others will be posted here also.
Star Trek offers 3 affiliations
with promises of Borg
and Cardassian affiliations
in the very near future:
Federation:
The Federation specializes
in Integrity and Cunning and is the most powerful and well rounded race.
Their only disadvantage is that they cannot attack and rarely have cloaking
devices. This is hardly a disadvantage because attacking is rarely the
focus of a game.
Wow: A fast ship! Doesn't have
a captain yet! Watch out for the Bortas!!!!!!
Romulans
The Romulans specialize in
Cunning, Treachery and Deciet. They often have easy missions, but lack
females to pass Matiriarchal Society. The Romulans can attack Federation
and Klingons, but may not attack other Romulans without the skill of "Tal
Shiar".
Shields 9??? Wow the Rommies
are catching up to the Federation!
Klingons
The Klingons are very strong
and, though have limited skills, have easy missions. Dillemas such as Matriarchal
Society and Zaldans usually kill Klingons. They have the fastest common
ships in the game, but when large ammounts of money are spent they generally
have average ships. The Klingons, unlike the Federation and Romulans have
NO Attack restrictions. They have small ships (K'vorts) to easily destroy
outposts. Though slow, they are a must for an attack deck. The larger cruisers
are often the prime choice for mission solving:
The BortaS: The Klingon
Flagship
BortaS means Revenge in Klingon!
Borg
The New Borg Affiliation promises to turn around
the game. Battles will be everywhere, the borg will assimilate ships, ect.
This race's specialty will be assimilation and battle. With a 7 crew 8/24/24
ship, it looks like the borg are off to a fantastic start. The other races
must adapt their decks... or die trying.
OH NO! The other races are in for it now!!!
Neutral
There is also a neutral Affiliation. It has ships
and characters that sometimes help, sometimes hinder the voyages of the
Enterprise. In the Card Game they are varying and have slow ships. Decipher
came out with a new ship with nine range. It helps people start off with
fast ships. The Zalkonian Vessel is a must for any deck that doesn't have
the entire Bridge Crew or needs more speed!
Neutral Range Nine Ship??? WOW!!!
