Tash, Zak, and their uncle Hoole are on the run from evil Imperial scientist Barborygmus Gog.  The only place to hide is Nespis 8, an abandoned space station.
There used to be a giant Jedi library on Nespis 8.  According to Deevee, the library is still there, but its cursed . . . and haunted by the ghost of a Jedi.
If they can find the library, maybe Tash and Zak can find  a way to stop Gog.
But something evil dwells on Nespis 8.
And it's much scarier than a Jedi ghost.

Excerpt

Tash stepped into the light.  As her eyes adjusted, she saw a large circular room.  The walls were lined with hundreds of shelves, and on the shelves were rows and rows of ancient dust-covered books.  Two antique tables made of carved wood stood in the center of the room, with sturdy wooden chairs beside them.
I found it, she told herself. I found it!
In the midst of her own wonder, Tash heard the voice that had awakened her.  But this time it did not whisper.  It roared around her, loud, harsh, and full of rage.
