STC's Orlando Chapter Job Search SIG is dedicated to preparing chapter members
and potential students for the job search process and to supporting them though
the process. We especially seek to serve those who are new to the job search
process or have been in a particular setting for years and which to change or
diversify in our field.
Objectives
To offer forums --namely, a listserv and web nesletter--
for informtion exchange about the job market and job search process.
To help new job searchers learn from more seasoned job
searchers and employers.
To facilitate networking between job searchers and employers.
To educate members about various aspects of the job market
and to inform them about specific job opportunities.
To offer job searchers inspiration and support.
Provide training opportunities, such as mock interviews,
to those preparing for a job search.
