"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:37-39
Hello. My name is Astalis or Kami in the Online world. Welcome! Here interests occupy. However, these pastimes do seem to share something in common -- the use of creativity and imagination. Various forms of science fiction/fantasy, including media dedicated to transforming robotic warriors, certain forms of anime (Japanese animation), and my love of natural wonders, have influenced my work as a freelance illustrator as well as a writer.
A new website of mine can be found at: Kami's Korner
Reading has also been a major influence. I'm particularly fond of Frank Peretti who wrote the bestselling novel THIS PRESENT DARKNESS.

I'm also very much a fan of the CHRONICLES OF NARNIA by C.S. Lewis. (In fact, it was the character of the noble lion Aslan that began my deep love of lions.) Click here to enter the Narnian realm...
And...also...who could forget "Robots In Disguise" from Transformers?
And now enter the realm of androids ands reploids -- MEGAMAN!
In the late summer of 1991 it was found I was within the final stages of mononucleosis -- symptoms of which had appeared about eight months prior. There was evidence something more was amiss over the course of the next few years but it wasn't until the onset of the joint and muscle pain around 4 years later that I was fianally given the Fibromyalgia diagnosis.
Fibromyalgia is an often misunderstood syndrome which may be affecting up to 2% - 4% of the total population. Many sufferers are neglected due to the lack of information concerning this syndrome. Click on this ribbon to learn more of Fibromyalgia.
The most prominent influence on my life and who I am would be Jesus Christ. More than a religion Christianity is a relationship between God and man. That relationship, once broken by the fall into sin and rebellion, was mended through the death and resurrection of His Son.
"There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption which came through Jesus Christ."
Romans 3:22-24
