Yes, sir...Damien. As ready as I can be. I am a bit nervous, though. This will be my first time as a team leader."

"We all are nervous when we get new positions, but we muddle through somehow. After all we all can't follow, otherwise we would end up nowhere."

Sari laughed, Damien's light humor put her at ease.

"I hope I'll do better than muddle through." Sari said with a smile.

"I'm sure you will. Have you read the file on the case yet?" Damien asked.

"Yes, I have. I think I may have some good insights on the case."

"Really, how so?"

At that moment the phone at Damien's desk rang. He answered it. "Cunningham." He listened for a minute as the other person talked to him. He covered the mouthpiece with his hand. "We can finish this discussion later. This is important."

"Alright. I'll be back for the meeting at 3:00"

"Be early."

"Yes, sir...Damien."

Sari stood and walked out of the room.
