The U.S.S. Shiva is under development as another defensive ship to protect the Federtation from the Borg. A battleship of immense firepower based upon the Galaxy class saucer and drive. Sporting a large sensor/weapon pod and a fore and aft pulse ram it can attack without mercy. Also equipped with 2 large hanger bays to accomodate squadrons of drone fighters. The ship is only on the drawing board and has not been approved by Starfleet.
